Problems Booting Dvd
« on: March 19, 2007, 07:52:00 AM »

I've got an xbit chip, running executor bios.....I can't seem to boot to the dvd to install slayer's ....I've done it before a million times but have decided to start over again because I had to replace the hard drive...So anyways, the slayer's is burnt to a verbatim dvd (burnt at 16x, this was the lowest I could choose), I've also tried cdrw...I have a spare Thomson drive but neither seem to work....I know the chip is installed because it gets to the Executor2 logo but then just stops there..., no further error message...If I pull the hard drive, I get the 07 superfro error.....

Any ideas?....Is there a way to install Slayer's onto a hard drive from my computer?

thanks..

try a new ide cable
how come 16x is  the slowest you can burn dvd's??
use xbhdm and just build your hd from scratch, get slayers and take the files out of that you need, you wont need to lock it as your chip will bypass that
