You just do it. Make sure the case is perfectly sealed, then add the mineral oil. Most mineral oil PCs have the drives outside the oil BTW.

So, for your N64, you would probably want to also put the cartridge slot and controller ports outside the tank. Unless you don't mind slop all over the place.

But, to agree with TS yet again, "why?"
