I have had this xbox for a while almost 4 years already.  I've modded it then upgraded it to a 125 gig hard drive to a 200 gig hard drive and finally a 300 gig seagate hard drive.  I've been using this hard drive since january of this year with no problem.  When suddenly today when i turn on my xbox it stalls to load unleashx and stalls even longer to load xbmc.  Games seem to run, run fine when i load it from unleashx with no hiccup.  What should i do?   I normally connect it to my network so i can stream stuff off my computer to my xbox.  So i was thinking is a virus possible?  Should i just reformat the drive and install everything all over again ( a major pain)?  Please i need help

I just tried to run my AID CD to reformat the drive and any cd i have but i can't seem to run anything using the dvd drive.  Does anyone think the DVD drive could be a problem and thats why its stalling?
