Need Gamecube Tutorial!

Hi all, I need a tutorial.. I would like to know how to put a power switch on my controller that will turn off my gamecube console.. I have done it with my xbox, but i do not know everything about my gamecube. Any help is appreciated thanks..

you can cross two of the wires (not shure wich ones) ond it kills the cube best bet experment ill try to find out update later
