yeah in the conference he says that traditional controllers will be made that plug into the expansion slot thus allowing ported games to play fine and wirelessly also.

I want one... I wonder wat MS and Sony think now. They will play it off asa nce "toy" probably, ut man would itbe shocking if ts indeed changed the cotroller design of choice. I think itstime for a change myself...

I'm not saying it sucks or anything. I just wish I could actually see someone demonstrate its usage in gameplay across multiple genres

It's still an ergonomic nightmare.  Why a TV remote type design?  Imagine trying to use your TV remote to play games.  My wrist and hand ache just thinking about it.  Why not a flight-stick type grip that you hold in one hand?  That would be a much better ergonomic design.

smile.gif but the Nintendo Rev is really made a impression on me i like the fact the console is more adult looking to be honest i think it looks a little bit like xbox 360 a more professional look then the game cube. I think this round Nintendo may have its act togather finally something that can go toe to toe with whats done out this one may be well matched for 360 and ps3 it seems their really pulling out all the stops to make it = with the other 2 consoles unlike last time when the game cube came out and dident have a dvd player or backwards playback the game cube was done out dated as soon as it came out.

I do like how it will incoperate well with the old nes games, because it looks a lot like it.  I have tried (unsuccessfully) to use the power glove and I hope that this thing really works.   I hope for nintendo's sake that the gameing industry is actually ready for something like this.  Because I don't think I am.  But I might change my mind after playing with it.

The unit mixes buttons and motion sensors so games can be controlled through a combination of pressing buttons and also waving the controller around in the air.

That actually sounds cool. Waving the control around and stuff. Kinda like what I use to do when I first got my nintendo when they first came out. Remember when you'd have to make mario jump. I'd be jumping with the control to lol.

You people saying it sucks, i dont know if your not giving it any thought or what.  This thing is amazing, it totally changes how everyone thinks of video games.  You will be able to interact with games like you never though possible, and they are opening a huge market of people that wouldnt normally play video games.  For these people they could release "simpler" games, which have more interaction and less buttons to remember.  It is pure genious, one of the best ideas i think i have ever seen.....
