I can live with the system design, but that controller is horrible. I would have much preferred if Sony stuck with the dual-shock style and simply incorporated a pair of triggers on the back (PS2 dual-shock is awful for driving games)
I also think that the system is way over engineered. It's got all this extra stuff that most probably will never get used, namely 3x Ethernet, 2x HDMI outputs, etc...
It's nice to see 1080p support, forward thinking. But how many people can afford a 1080p set?
and only 256Mb RAM? Seems a bit strange that everything else is so far ahead and Sony sticks with a piddly amount of RAM, even if it does supposedly run at 3.2Ghz. One of the biggest problem with the PS2 was it's lack of memory.
I can't get over that controller...
