OMG the controller is some radical design.

I mean the original dualshock 2 isnt the most ergonomic thing ever, and I bet this one is, but is it a boomeran, a pair of horns, or together with vibration effects, something completely different.

this is the first time i can genuinely say that a first-party peripheral from any of the big 3 console developers is completely, entirely, god-awfully hideous. Why, Sony, why?

I rather dislike the design. Compared to xbox 360, its ass just got handed to it as far as i'm concerned. And that controller... no comment required. The performance better be amazing though, and from what we've heard about this Cell technology. Will be interesting to see who comes out on top.

btw, the foreman grill is hilarious

Ps3 isn't the best looking console but it does look better than the ugly looking atx stand they call Xbox 360.

The controller worries me, it sux.

Both systems the xbox 360 and playstation 3 are looking nice. The playstation may have the goofy looking controller for now but so did the first xbox. Doesn't matter though because i will be getting each system again anyway.

The design of the console isnt that bad, but that controller sucks ASS!..
Nice specs though, specs are better then the XBOX360 and it lookslike they uses MSs old xbox strategy. make a more powerfull console, release later.

This is the ugliest system I have ever seen. Xbox 360 looks WAY better. Sony has lost the portable MP3 war to Apple, the TV war to Samsung and will lose the console war to MS. From the looks of the specs the PS3 will be way more expensive. 256MB @ 3.2GHz!!!! That is fucking insane and SUPER expensive.

You forgot to mention the ps3 uses blu ray disc which can hold up to 52 gigabytes.. thats 4 hours of hdtv. Xbox 360 will be using regular dvd's .
