Do you think you could have an external usb hard drive hooked up to your xbox?

Maybe one day. But in order to do so a developer would have to make a special app just for this purpose.

Well, The other day I switched an ide burner with another burner that was an external usb burner. Basically the only difference is that it gets converted inside the casing from ide to usb because when I switched them, they both worked fine. So I guess if you have an external USB burner than you might try it.
