Your on the right track...You need an sdcard or memcard and an original copy of AR to kinda 'softmod' your GC.

Maxpro will work with very limited space.

Check my other thread at Dextrose.

Is  maxpro an app?? I think i understand all the steps needed to deploy SDLoader, im just looking for an app that would be able to backup a Gamecube disc (that i would buy and fully own) and would be able make it fit on an sd card. Do you know of anything like that?

you dont have to download gamecube games, we recommend you dont smile.gif
and you cant boot games off an sd card unless i am very mistaken, which im pretty sure im not smile.gif
you have to load a .dol of the sd card, then just use a burnt copy of the game.

Well, then the question remains, how does one make an image of a gamecube game w/o the BBA? Once an image could be put on the SD Card, then it could be transfered to a PC where it could then be burnt and used back in the gamecube. But w/o downloading from Usual Places, how would one get the image onto the PC.

not possible.

Who are you to say not possible.

It could be possible in the future a programmer could just make a program for it.

No wonder you have 1000 or more post.

Thats major Flame and I dont like it.

Get a life and finish any challenge you do.

1.5 gb flash memory

plugged into memory card slot using special adapter.

A program made to code for it.

Hook the flash memory up to computer thru usb.

Im not the one whos not thinking here.

Im not the one who is saying something isnt possible when it could be.

You have no ideas and you automatically assume something without thinking.

You were the one who brought up not possible and thats a major flame.

Ill let you have the last glory on the topic post.

So far I havent found your posts helpful at all maybe one or 2.

its really annoying how you keep leaving a line between each sentence you know
and if i was flaming i would be verbally attacking someone, which i wasnt, so just drop it
and your the one who started it =/

and thats not thinking, thats dreaming. big difference.

Back on topic....

I use SDLoad to launch GCoS1.4.  I went down and setup my IP settings, subnet, and gateway, click on "Apply Settings" and can't connect from PC.

So I think to myself "Maybe it needs a restart...", so i do that, relaunch SDLoad, relaunch GCoS, and I notice the Network settings are back to default (ie.  not what i defined).

Could somebody help me out with this??
