I've replaced the lasers on a number of thompson drives, but everytime i reassemble them, the tray gets stuck.  It seems that the the laser isn't lowering like it's supposed to, almost like the magnet in the top of the lid became more powerful or something.  What the hell am I doing wrong?  I know it's something stupid, but I can't figure out what.
