i took off the standoffs and the shielding.  you just have to make sure you line it up correctly.

Ok thanks. One more thing , when playing a ntsc game on a pal cube , does it output in ntsc , pal60 or pal50. Looked about , but can't find answer. Some people say it does pal 60 , so full screen , full speed. Others say does pal 50 , so black bars and slower. Which  is it , I noticed the freeloader faqs so you need 60hz compatible tv , but aint sure if thats the freeloader forceing pal60.

I took out the screws from the connector, glued on the outer shield (super glue), then put the screws on the other side, so it plugs right into the parallel port.
