farenheit - just an update for you. The Gamecube does *NOT* need a boot disc to play imports with teh Viper, just hold Y as the Gamecube boots and it will play your backup automatically, according to the Mental team.

i dont think that is going to happen anytime soon, because in order for your computer to connect to your gamecube it needs an ip. and the only way at the moment is pso.
and pso is a pretty good game.

u can put the  rip.dol on the  gc with the encrypter thing  and i think it  works

Damn, you guys are lucky. I have gotten a chip to play around with, but I cant seem to get the sucker working. I know I installed it right, (c'mon the easiest points ever) but my freaking Bios Flasher app says that it cant find the Viper GC. Did any1 get this error worked around. I only tried it with my laptop (WinXP) I think it has to be something with my lpt port. Im gonna try it again maybee with my Desktop pc when I get back from work. but really, did any1 solved this problem. The GC works fine, boots originals right off the bat.

Modifying an XBOX is not an easy task, and in many cases can take a few hours to do even with professionals. So dont lend your XBOX to be modified by just anyone!

Modding an XBox is not an easy task? Xbox is the EASIEST console to mod. There's a non-solder version of just about every chip out there for the Xbox.

Another strange thing is I burnt all my games to the cheapest crappest full sized DVD-R  I could find and all of them work. I am 5 hours into resident evil 4 and not one read error or anything smile.gif
--
One bug I have notices is that sometimes the swap disk now doesnt appear and other times thed rive doesnt spin down. Both these faults are listed in the .nfo file though.

Thanks team cobra u rule smile.gif
