Whats best on the laser, I've heard internal chip, and some say the goldfinger, pro action replay, etc, type external parallel mod is best. anyone know?

external mods sometimes require boot disks and they may not work with games that have modchip protections (that is including originals). internal stealth dont require swapping and bypass protections. internal all the way.

Yep, if you wanna play backups, you best get an internal chip.

Sony removed the Parallel port on the last 2/3? versions of the PS anyway.... You only need an external 'chip' (with PC parallel port) if you're gonna reflash it with Caetla and use the PS as a Yaroze.......
