How can you be certain its the GPU that's causing your problems???
The GPU cannot be replaced without the aid of robotics. Plus if a company could do it for you, they'd probably charge you more than what a brand new X-Box would cost.

The GPU could probably be replaced by Dano2k0. But if he could do it for you, he'd probably charge you more than what the repair of an old xbox motherboard is worth.

As for the issue, could easily be the GPU, but i'd be a little suspect before just thinking its that and do alot of testing before hand.

You could always try cooling the GPU considerably more to see if this helps matters.

Mind the bits that are abit darker in colour, its simply burned on flux that can be removed easily, just hadn't cleaned the board up before pictures.

Awesome job Dano2k0......It takes balls to do that kind of stuff.

Lol and I thought the GPU problem was only in 360's  laugh.gif

But yeah, it sounds like its a failing GPU or CPU....
