Magic 3.1 Easier Alternative?
« on: September 07, 2003, 05:31:00 PM »

I'm not very good at soldering points, so would placing the wire on the point, and then hot glueing it, stay on? It sounds like a lot easier, so was asking if it would be reliable. Thx.

I'm not sure what you mean, Scan-C.  The installation of the Magic 3.1 on a V7 is easier than both a Messiah2 (it has a clock wire) and a DMS3 (pickiest chip ever) on the same console.

QUOTE (Scan-C @ Sep 9 2003, 11:41 AM)
don't use a magic 3.1 if your ps2 is v7 or above.i did and had a hard time with it.
to solder in a chip best use a soldering needle.it's easy if the tip is fine enough

haha, are you dumb? V7 is by far the easiest ps2 to mod with a magic 3.1, anything lower just gets harder and harder dry.gif
