I still think it was one of the BEST consoles ever. It was like having a fucking arcade at home. Even though, I do have my xbox now, I still love my SNES. But, I really liked NES too. SMB is classic!  tongue.gif

I loved the SNES its my favorite console.

My list:
Mario World
Mario Allstars
Contra 3
Super Metroid
Mario Kart
Super starwars
Zelda (IMO the best game of all time)
Donky Kong 1,2,3
Star Fox
Mario Paint (Don't laugh it rules)

Thats alll I can think of off the top of my head, but I know there at least 20 more SNES games I love

i'm just happy that i have my xbox and can still play the old snes and nes classics with emulators.  xbox is like an all-in-one system.  you can take your nes, snes, sega, sega cd, gba, gb, gbc, etc wherever you go IN your xbox

You guys are forgetting games like Final Fantasy III, Bohamut Lagoon, and Tales of Phantasia.  I believe the very best RPG's are for the SNES.

I was never really attached to SNES, since I didn't have one as a kid...

I had a Sega Genesis instead... And I would play that all the time...

In fact, I still play Genesis games a lot on my Xbox... Nothing beats having old classics on a new favorite...

QUOTE (ivans_dc @ Aug 28 2003, 02:17 PM)
yeah the good old days, i grew up with the super nintendo as my first gaming comsole, if funny i find this thread today, i just dug up my nintendo, and gave it anouther try, i was quite amazed at how durible is is as well as the cartridges... my poor dreamcast stopped worke years ago. but thre classic rains on.  smile.gif

well it's not like you can scratch the edges or anything, the only thing that can go bad is the battery inside the cartridge that keeps your game saves from erasing. Those can be replaced though.
