I've had this problem some time now. Can't be sure when it started as I didn't really notice at first. I have been trying to get movie info on stuff saved to my hard drive for about 3 months and each time I kept getting the keyboard sceen to enter name of item and then it would query it and come straight back to the keyboard.
Thinking this was just an issue with the version 2.0 I waited and installed 2.0.1 which gave me the same problem.
Did some digging and tried an old CVS version with no joy. I have been installing SVN versions since Xmas with no joy.
Didn;t think to much of it at first as I could get YouTube working and XBMC online scripts, Movie trailers and internet radio fine.
In this time I have upgraded my router to the netgear DG834N. I have checked all the port forwarding settings are correct. I have enabled and disabled UPnP as well as trying to set my xbox as the DMZ. None of this has worked. It is only recently that I have been into system info to chech the network settings to find out its not seeing the internet.
I went back the MS dash (its been a long time, what with being banned and all that) and check the net settings in there. I did an account recovery and get cannot connect to xbox live. Connections OK, IP's OK, DNS OK, Xbox live not found.
Anyone got any ideas? Its really starting to get on my tits. Downloaded a few scripts that don't complete fully because they to cannot gain full net access
