You can probablly use it with linux.. no way you're going to get it to work under the xbox OS though.

I tried using my bluetooth headset from my cell phone and it worked fine.  However, I'm not sure if you might be talking about something slightly different.  With mine you had to charge both the headset part and the part that plugged into the headset jack, and then there would be a little dongle thing hanging off the controller

EDIT: by the way, itof course worked fine in xbox games and everything.  But this wasn't anything integrated into the xbox or anything that plugs into the usb ports or needs drivers, just a battery powered thing that plugs into the headset jack.  It does make it wireless though

I think that what he's trying to say is that he has a headset that has both an earpiece as well as a tranceiver that plugs into a headphone jack as opposed to the headsets that connect to phones that have internal bluetooth. I've only ever heard of the latter but I'm sure the others exist as well.
