Strange Characters On Lcd Display

Hi

I have a xenium ice modchip, I recently installed a EA DIP204 LCD via spi2par adaptor. It works, but some characters are not displayed properly. for example when i am watching a video the progress bar is displayed as a series like "aaaaaaa". Or the LCD.Playicon is displayed as an flashing underscore.

I dont know where the problem lies ?

Does anyone else have a similar problem.
