You'll get anally exploited if you're going to try and order one now, though. Typical modchip seller scumbag pricings - it costs $43 to order in quantity *10*, and they're selling them for like $65 plus shipping.

I own a PS2 with the Messiah 2.

It boots PS2 originals and PS2 backups by just putting the disc in.

However! To boot PS1s and movie DVDs you have to put it in PS1 mode. This is done by putting the unit in standby and pressing and holding the power until the blue eject light comes on (just a second or two). Provided the PS1 game or DVD is already in the drive, it will now boot.

To use the PS2 with the chip off, put the unit in standby mode (off) and press the power and hold it in... the blue eject light will come on after a second or two as stated above and then it will go back off after another second or two.... then release it. The PS2 will boot with the Messiah 2 off.

yea, it was realeased Nov 20,
so its tough to find / get one ..
