You'll need a ps2 everquest account setup to connect.  When offical people got their beta cds, they were given a cdkey used to make an account...so a ripped version of the ps2 everquest beta seems pointless.
(Besides you're not missing not...such a boring game!)

People are starting to talk about problems with Everquest on-line. I have the beta but haven't created a character yet. I've gotten past all the other parts that people were haveing problems with.
I have a ver. 6 PS2 w/ magic 2 v7 chip and a neo key since I had one of the bad v7 chips, so I can play PS1 games also.
