LOL, ....
it's a very satisfying experience having perform a successful cog and knife swap or any swapping on the ps2 to get some imports or backups working but until the day u actually get a direct boot ship fitted, ....and after that , you would be wondering why in the world did you suffered all those shitty swap times when u can have a direct boot chip loading your games while u sit on the couch ! ...

is there a way to open the tray ? like cog/knife. I want to get Messiah this time so I am going to wait for a few months so that the prices cmo edown, in the mean time I am wondering if it is possible to do cog/knife method.

ok but I don't see the cog........... should I take off the front part of the tray ?  will I be able to put it back on later on with glue ?

I tried it. here are the results......

SONY has changed the design of the cd tray, u need to cut a lil rectangle in the bottom (plactic arean) to perform the cog/knife method. Cog is there and u can perform it. I have gameshark 2 v2.0 .....I was not successfulll loading any games. I tried :

DISC   AT ONCE
TRACK AT ONCE
NO MOD PATCH

but the games don't load.
using Verbatim Valulif. May be I have the wrong cdrs or wrong gameshark version.
