What intrigues me most is the most popular threads in the Pro Sports forum are about Poker and Paintball.

Poker being in sports forums is a tad strange. Poker being popular in forums does not suprise me.

There is so much to discuss about poker.
Hand analysis being the big one. Bad beat stories and poker theory is quite popular as well. Thanks to televised events, poker has exploded onto pretty much every scene. Over the past 2 years I have played with 60 year olds, as well as 13 year olds.

If you don't like my definition, that is fine, but my definition is just as valid as any.  There are no official definitions, and even those definitions listed in a dictionary are contridictory.

Well you could make it competetive. You no when you go to the fair or amusement park they have those thing games where you shoot water at it and the thing rises. You could do the samething only w/ pissing. The more pressure that is applied the fatser it rises.  By your definition that is competetive and physical (the power of your stream).

I'm not trying to my smart or disguisting I am just giving you an example.

Definitely not a sport.  ESPN shows anything that gets ratings.  The funniest part of Dodgeball is them cracking on ESPN with ESPN 8 "The Ocho" showing dodgeball tournaments and treating them like the super bowl.

all the weak ass people who cant play football or basketball like to call it a sport because its the only thing they can do. Thats why half of the people on here call it a sport because they cant play a real sport.

and the worlds largest signature award goes tooo.....SNMNMNM!

i played poker all the time mostly No Limit Holdem..and i'll tell you its not a sport. A sport has to involve something phsyical. Passing cards around a table and putting chips into the center of a table isn't phsyical.

And the argument of Luck Vs Skill. Someone with luck can win a poker tourney once.Someone with skill can make a living off poker tournaments..

I'd say its 10% luck 90% skill

Like when i play online and i have a set of queen (3 queens for those who dont know) Then someone keeps calling 5$ bets with ace high and needs runner runner cards to hit a straight and still calls 5$ bets the hole way until he catches the card he needs on the river for a straight. In case like that it's just some horrible poker player getting lucky.

But again poker isn't a sport....
