wow.. that was close.
What was wrong with Ben? He actually played like a rookie suprisingly.

But the Jets couldn't convert those turnovers into points and thats what counts..

Man I was doing some serious nail-biting thru that one. Ben had the ole
"first time in the playoffs jitters" im sure. Now that he has one in the win
column, i look for him to be more relaxed and confident next week,
especially if they play the pats again. They would have a huge mental
advantage in that one.

the jets really only had two plays.

the interception for an 80 yd TD and the punt return for an 80 yd TD... other than that they didn't really do anything

Ben played like a rookie the first half but the second half, even with that horrible interception, was MUCH better when you look at the stats.

QUOTE(enderandrew @ Jan 17 2005, 02:21 AM)
Herm Edwards can always draw up a good gameplan.  Somedays I think he may be one of the best coaches in the league.  His team can be 1-8, and he'll motivate his players to play hard, and play smart.

Since the Pack got crushed by the Vikings I've been rooting for the Steelers. I figured they'd be tough to beat. But after their play against the Jets and then New England's play today I'm a bit concerned about their chances. If NE can hold the Colts to a mere 3 points then what are they gonna do to Pittsburgh?

Manning tends to get shut down in the snow.  Manning has always been shut down by the Patriots.  Pittsburgh runs the ball, and passes when they need to.  They've light years different than Indy.

They match up much better against New England than Indy did.
