Well they lost again.  It isn't look too good for them although they certainly looked more in control the second game.  They completely owned the 2nd and 3rd periods and it was real nice to see Sundin back in the game.  They've got another 2 days rest before the next game in Toronto and that is going to swing the favor towards the Leafs.

I was pretty confident for that game.  The 2 days rest definitely helped them more than it helped Philly.  I think I've figured it out - the Leafs just don't play the neutral zone trap very well.  The all defense "sit back and watch" style just doesn't work for them.  Each of their goals last night were breakaways on strong offensive plays.  If they keep that up they can win it.

Leafs 3
Flyers 1

Whoohoo!  It's a clean slate again.  Best of 3 starting on Sunday.  Momentum has definitely swung toward Toronto as I predicted.

I hate Canada.  I hate Canada like I hate Australia.

..but there's one thing I hate more, and that's the filth capital of the world, Philadelphia: Worst City on the Planet...and I've been to Egypt.

Go leafs go.

Yeah, but they haven't made the playoffs in almost a decade.

At 5-1 I had to turn the game off.  Really sad - especially considering this was the first Leafs game being shown in high definition.  Oh the pain of seeing my team crumble in high resolution glory...

There's still hope though.  It's do or die time on Tuesday.

Yup, that was a tough way to end the season.  During the OT period I thought I was going to have a heart attack.  And thus ends another season.  I guess it's time to cheer on Calgary now.
