They're looking strong and I'm anxious for Tuesday's game against the Lightning. Tampa Bay seems to be in a bit of slump and it would all the more nice to kick them while they're down and show them who's boss in the East. The two Ottawa games coming up should be some very high intensity hockey. With a bit of luck I expect the Leafs to come out top in the Northeast division. And if they beat Tampa Bay I think they have what it takes to get to the cup series.

Unfortunately I cannot watch any of the games - being a leafs fan living in the US sucks - but I'll be listening to them on the NHL radio feeds.

7-2 loss - ouch. That is embarrassing actually. I had hoped they'd be stronger heading into the playoffs.

That's exactly what they needed, a hard throwdown. Boston knows who they have to beat for the cup and soon Ottawa will too. I read there's a big controversy about the upcoming Ottawa games because they banned Leafs jerseys unless the wearer brings a can of food - must be really annoying for them to see more blue jerseys in the stands than their own team
