As you can see i am Nets fan, as i am typing this the halftime report is going on for the Nets VS Pistons game. i know that the nets swept them last year but damn Detroit looks pretty mad ! i give it to them , they have a great line up but i still think a combination of Jason Kidd , Richard jefferson and K- Mart can pull it off

If the Nets don't find some fast break points they're doomed. They don't have great shooters. And with the defense Detroit plays that may be an issue. I don't think NJs gonna be able to just take outside shots and win this series.

i since bitterness with this one   and you think the spurs are boring?? man Detroit worse. least Parker is showing some pizazz now.  Good thing i didnt watch Nets and Piston game cause that just seem slooowwww. cant imagine Detroit and the Spurs in the finals. ill tell you why the nets (i hate to say this) got raped last night. Because first of all they were on a 10 day break which is no excuse but anyway, Pistons are doing great defensively and Prince plays good in the Palace. i dont hate the pistons, actually they are my second best team but it will really show in game 2 who is gona take it over!!

Thankfully there's players I like on most of the teams in the playoffs, so no matter who wins, I can cope. I'm actually pulling for the Nets, but I don't think it's gonna happen. I don't think you can chalk the whipping they took up to a little court rust. They aren't a great shooting team and need to be able to go inside and get fast breaks. With Detroits defense and size that's just not happening. I really hope this series isn't as bad as the Pacers/Boston one.

   SA over LAL in 5 (the Spurs are at the top of their game and can you say Tony Parker?)
   SAC over MIN in 5 (Sacramento is already a good team, and look at Minnesotta's past.)

   SA over SAC in 5 (the Spurs just have to go at their own pace and slow down the high scoring Kings)
 
    EAST
    DET over NJ in 5 ( Detroit is a defensive powerhouse and they are looking pretty good right now, also New Jersey hasn't been the same since they lost to SA)
    IND over MIA in 4 ( *sits in silence* what else is there to say)

    IND over DET in 7( Struggle series since ones the best team in the league nad the other is tied for tops in defense with SA)

      Finals
     SA over IND in 6 ( Awesome series, hands down)

I'm a Spurs fan but no team for the rest of the finals for the Spurs will be as easy as Memphis was. And it will be hard to get two victories in LA. It would be awesome to see Detroit and San Antonio play in the finals but i don't believe that Detroit can get through Indiana. That would be the defensive championship and national championship.

welcome Darth Stuart, I sense greatness in you. the black and sliver does suit you well, cause I too have forseen the Spurs to win it all once again .  Anyway though Im a spurs fan too and the way they were playing at the beginning of the season i had them written off to the Kings and Lakers and figured to wait it out till next season but Damn have Tony Parker grown to become a superstar this past month.  He s finally grown, and when people start thinking when the transformation happen they just need to watch game 1 against the Lakers and see how he was yelling at Duncan to do a pick and roll and gave him the rock to score outside was awesome. That to me showed that he is now evolved to a superstar and possibly bigger.

Proud to see him finally become a superstar, hes been getting rag on from pop and dealing with the almost aquired J-Kidd. Now we got the better deal. thats tight

well they were bound to lose eventually. 17 wins in a row, had to come to an end sooner or later but i have forseen them winning on tuesday and the game after that which means like i said before SPURS IN 6.  But yeah they shot like garbage plus as always the refs in la seem to go blind badly but hey thats why we have home court and use our blind refs to our advantage

yea the spurs stunk it up Sunday. i was embarassed. but yea the Spurs were bound to loose, i mean 17 game win streak, when they did loose it was going to be a bad loss. but i still say that they will go all the way and win it all.

  you gotta admit though getting calls at the staple center is just awful but..... ok i ll admit they are playing better D and for some freaking reason Kobe just gets pissed when he goes to court and takes it out on the team he plays that night. either way... i ve been right so far so again, i was wrong that they wld win game 4 but then if they did they wld of won in 5 thus making me completly wrong. but im still getting close to my prediction which will be SPURS in 6. I have forseen this, it is TRUE...oh God please be true cause i cant stand another year with the lakers going all the way but then again this will be the last cause im sure they ll implode after this year. Kobe in a clippers uniform, shaq just quits cause Phil isnt coming back and Malone rides in the sunset and Payton pouts for another team. Please so we can rid ourselves the laker years
