How Do You Tell The Psu Versions Apart?

wondering how you tell the psu versions apart? What would most likely happen if i got some mixed up with different mobos?? Would it cause random locking up?? lemme know cause i think i have...

1.0/1.1 are easy . . . single row of connectors.

You can distinguish between Xbox power supplies by simply looking at them. Although there are different revisions of power supplies, the revisions can really be ignored for your situation. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

As long as the power supply is functioning properly, and is used with the correct Xbox version (i.e. version 1.0 power supply with version 1.0 Xbox), you shouldn't encounter lock-ups or freezing.

ok i think i got 2 customers xbox psu's mixed up. They are both experiencein the same problems. IE: random locking up and controllers saying "unplugged" when not unplugged. So i hope that is all thats wrong.

As long as you use the right verison psu they will work for all xboxs so i dont think that could be the problem
