QUOTE
Liviu Librescu, 75, an engineering science and mathematics lecturer tried to stop the gunman from entering his classroom by blocking the door before he was fatally shot, his son said Tuesday from Tel Aviv, Israel.

“My father blocked the doorway with his body and asked the students to flee,” Joe Librescu said in a telephone interview from his home outside of Tel Aviv. “Students started opening windows and jumping out.”
If anybody knows more about this man, please post it here for me.

I did not read your link so I may be repeating old news.  According to the BBC he was a holocaust survivor, it's sad that he survived that only to be shot by a selfish, deranged Korean.

I read about this earlier on Digg. This man is a true hero.

Instead of brewing hatred towards the killer admidst this tragic event, I believe people should use this occasion to honor this professors' devotion to his understudies and even society as a whole.

This man better have a building named after him or something...
