This seems hypocritical to me. If he bought it once and never tried it. Why would he need more?
Honestly, I couldn't care less if he was bi-sexual or whatever. I just don't like that he lied and cheated on his wife. I assume of course he did lie to her and/or she wasn't consenting.

Yes this is a huge problem. If people are truly care about the Lord's word they obviously wouldn't do these acts. Even moreso, you do not go on tv and profess how holy you are. You'll know someone is holy not because they tell you they are, but when they DON'T tell you they are but humbly do good deeds. It's people that claim to represent religions that give them a bad name.

It sounds so stupid.  Haggard said that he brought meth but didn't use.  He also said that he called gay man for a massage but didn't have sex.  The last time when something sounds that dumb was when Bill Clinton said that he smoked pot but didn't inhale.
