update on the trial

The defense has rested, after carefully going to great lengths to explain that we have proven evolution.  They then went on to explain how the concept of intelligent design was inherently religious.  This was based on the many writings of intelligent design advocates, and it involved a close scrutiny of the suggested "alternate reading".

All in all it looks like Evolution may finally be able to squash the idiots who try and promote intelligent design as science.

if people want to have intelligent design in schools so bad why does it have to be in science class? couldn't it just be a seperate class altogether and the people who do want to learn about it could take it?

QUOTE
If there was any justice in the land of the free the judge would clearly state ID, science should be taught side by side and not one favoured over the other.

but ID isnt science, and no supporters of it can provide any evidence to show its science, its no more a valid alternative to evolution than last thurdayism or raelism, so why not teach those too?

did you just pull a quote out of thin air?

All in all...I hope this court case explained once and for and that no matter how strongly you believe something, that does not make it true...
