Thats the stupidest thing I have ever heard. I will be able to get 7-8 games on there. And there are about 7-8 games that I really like and always play, so I put them on the HDD and I have easy access to them and they load faster. Why would it be a waste of time?  huh.gif  huh.gif

What did you expect from a noob? Hell, 30gb is plenty if the only thing you use it for is a media center.

It was modded with Evox, then with AID I installed the default dash board and it completely mest everything up. I tryed to re-mod back to evox but looks like my dumb friend removed the game save as well.. lucky me..

Any way i'm going to try to do that hot swapping trick. I REALLY hope this works. There's enough tutorials to keep me reading for days on this stuff, hopefully I get it to work..

If you have any problems hot-swapping, let me know. I can help you out.

I got the hot swap to work my second time! Of course with ghettoc401's help. All I did was put a game in my xbox, counted to 20, undid the xbox's ide cable, then turned on my pc, pressed "Pause/Break" then plugged in the hd, then pressed esc which continues the boot process and the hd was unlocked! I went into xbrowser and did what I wanted there.

Good thing I didn't have to buy a chip.
