Its not impossible that someone is attempting to (for whatever reason) hack into the defense comptuers and they are masking their tracks by going through a chinese network. Not that hard to do, and if the media cought wind of it you know they would exploit the situation and say it was Chinese forces rather than a hacker who knew how to (politically) time it right.

Just my 2 cents.
