Okay, I understand there are child prediators out there.  But when someone molested 36,000 children, that sounds kind of absurd.  How does someone get that many kids to molest?

they probably found 36,000 photos of nekkid kids on his computer and they count each photo as a case of molestation...

lets say he started his sex journal when he was 23 so thats 40 years of molesting boys.

36,000/(40*365) = 2.5 kids molested per day


Not even Will Chamberlin can boast that much sexual activity  

its far more likely that the police are jumping to conclusions about what his journal really means.

if you read it, they said a lot of the names were repeats. and if you found only the single names it was in the hundreds (not any less horrible, but its not in the thousands)

even if they are repeats assaults on the same kid, I still dont believe those numbers.  that is still averaging 2.5 assaults per day.  Plus, he spent time 12 years in jail where he could not possibly have molested boys so the number of assaults per day would have to be higher

the truly disturbing part of this is how well he skirted the system and stayed off the registered sex offenders list for so long.

No death or torture will ever be enuff for twisted ppl like this. I'm an anarchistic pacifist, but for him i would make an exeption. Lock him in a dark room and throw away the key. Make sure he has food though. I mean he should have a chance to go insane/understand pain.

Or maybe some decent public humiliation. A stoning, branding and exile would be very fitting.
