Don't insult people like that for their believes, question them. Question him if he supports Israel's illegal occupation of Palestine. I hate all religions equally. There are good jews as there are a good christians, if you search you'll find some.

I agree with the logic, but you know christians are gonna flame forever about how God gave man free will, but expects them to worship and fear him, or they go to hell for the rest of eternity...Yeah, that makes sense.

I do not consider myself to have any kind of religious beliefs. I know and have good friends who follow a multitude of different religions. Each with their own merits. The only religious text I have read which seems to make any kind of logical sense to me was Anton LaVey's Satanic Bible. Its more philosophy than enything else. I read it because if you believe in Chiristianity then isnt it work exploring the other side of the coin? Its based around the idea of making the best out of yourself by believeing in yourself.
My main opinion on religion is that it is a method of social control and has been throughout the whole of history. The fear of God will make the masses conform.
