Seems a little fishy that Opec has decided to increase output (thus lowering oil prices) right before the elections.  They will be geared up by Nov 1st.  Do the Opec nations want to keep GWB in office?  I'm not against lower gas prices but I am concerned that other nations can make such impacts on our elections.  Although they may be helping my chosen canidate this time, what happens next election?  dry.gif

Increasing oil output by 1m barrels a day won't decrease prices significantly.  If you think about it from their end, increased oil output=increased profits.  It seems that only OPEC are the only ones who can increase oil production.  All the other countries seems to be producing oil at their maximum capacity.
