Anybody Buying A Gun On Sept 14th?

QUOTE (gronne @ Sep 12 2004, 02:29 PM)
We pay the highest taxes in the world. My parents pay 70% in taxes. That doesn't leave much for your own, but we have a well working society, and they make a lot of money anyway. Of course we pay different amount of tax, depending on how rich you are. Should be stated that we have many tax-dodgers, mostly foreigners and capitalists.

Do you think most tax-dodgers get caught?

Unpro: I didn't refer to you as a tax-dodger, but you do have a lot of tax-dodgers, then I specifically refer to extremely rich people, and great companies. They dodge taxes in one way or the other. You've had some really big financial scandals the latest years. It's the duality of such people. Do YOU think it's worth all the problems gun causes? The tax the deaths causes is nothing compared to the deaths in itself. If you took away guns from people that don't use it for hunting, you know the death rate would go down with at least 80%. Unfortunately it's never that easy, it's your RIGHT.

70%? Heh, where do you live, North Korea?

QUOTE (nemt @ Sep 12 2004, 08:38 AM)
The death rate for criminals, maybe.

Crime goes down statistically the easier it is for citizens to own guns in the area, and out of the 200,000,000 guns in the US today, only 0.015% will be used to kill someone.

Guns make their owners safer.

your fucking joking me right

i mean, seriously

i guess those 100 deaths of family members by accidental shootings, or the deaths of little kids that find a gun, or the suicides of kids using a gun or the deaths of people taking guns to school dont mean much when you compare them to a number like 200,000,000 statistically

your a moron

More kids are killed by five gallon water buckets left out in the open than accidental gunshots.  The problem lies with parents lacking supervision, not some inherent danger of personal gun ownership.

Finish middle school, and get your facts straight before you try to argue.

How can this be irony when it is based on your first post in this thread, that also has a second followup refeering to an incident.

a) Are you unsure how to use irony?
b ) Are you unsure of what you mean?
c) Are you just saying it was irony to get away?

dunno why u'd attempt to bash me when my previous reply  was clearly sarcasm.

Heh, lets say it was irony. Then it is in contrast with your first and second post. If your first post also was irony then both of they're in contrast with your second post. Your second post is quiet determin, and can not be considered as irony.

I do not see much point of continuing this argue, but I will reply to your followup if you for any reason feel the urge to continue.

guns are for the weak, get a knife or a bow and arrow.

QUOTE
at my school we had a debate over gun control and i found out the majority of the conservative kids agreed on needing guns in case the government decided to turn on us.  if you have enough distrust to think your own government is going to turn on you, how in hell can you support our occupation in the middle east.  and elsewhere for that matter..

As you claim, the last post is ironic and in contrast with you first. What you're saying is that you do mean that guns are for the weak but you also care to protect your own country...

Then I ask you again, how can you defend a country with a knife or a bow and arrow?

As I said, go play in the woods with cute little bears.
