The story of Nick Berg's decapitation broke out right around the time my older sister had her second child.  I held the baby boy the day he was born and I just couldn't help but think of how each of the men standing behind Nick Berg, as well as Nick Berg himself, was once a baby also.

We would never see one baby kill another baby, but why do people kill other people?

There's really no answer for it.  I think, for the first time in my life, that I finally understand why there were so many "hippies" during the 60s/70s.  Some of them weren't very responsible when it came to drugs and sex...but I think they had the right idea.

We are dealing with a chaotic religion.  A religion that demands to be housed inside a theocracy but makes no allowances for it.  If we choose to fight Muslims then we fight the cleric of the week in whichever region that particular group dwells.  This type of disorganization breeds terrorism.  The Koran can be summed up in two words "Interpret Me".   Look at any country comprised of Muslims and you see ruthless leadership.  Why?  It is the only way to control a people of this faith.  Saddam was perfect for the Job in IRAQ.  Who better to rule Babylon than the devil himself?

But every person from Pakistan, Iraq, Saudi etc.. is classed as a muslim, therefore a terrorist and not worthy of life.
Im not saying this is your view, beatbox, but it is a commonly held view in this forum.

A lot of people in these countries are as muslim as i am catholic, and i only go to church for funerals and weddings (and dont even belive in god). Iraq was quite a liberal place when it came to religion and has a sizeable cristian population, there are even Jews in Iraq.

Look at your own country, abortion clinics recieve tremendous intimidation and doctors are attacked leaving work. This is done by religous fanatics is it not?
I wont even start on the bible belt!

The pope and bush both study the same holy book yet have completely different views on world affairs, proved by the popes recent dressing down of bush.
