yes, its called MAD (mutual assured destruction) and even though were not in the Cold war anymore, the US and russia still chose to have a shitload of nukes around (even though we'll supposedly never use em, like having a gun just in case a unicorn attacks    )

of course, russia would launch at us, then the US would luanch back, russia and america would both be gone, then depending on emotions or fears, other countries might attack

Anyways I believe all countries are capable of wiping each out. North Korea is a small country yet they have ton's of nukes from what I have read. And are very capable of attacking in this day in age.

and about north korea with nukes, that could be somewhat true, but most of them are (or would be) very small yeild ones, that dont have the capability of attacking alot of countries, hence why they wanna build thier own
