In his report to his officers on the Bagsak engagement, General Pershing set out his policy for conciliating the rebels. "In this hour of exultation," he wrote, "let us not forget the vanquished foe." Saying that they fought with "an unswerving courage and a superb gallantry," he directed: "Let our assurances of good-will be extended to him in his defeat, and let no opportunity be allowed to pass to do a kindly act or to extend a word of encouragement to this brave people."

Just to make one thing clear: Gen. John Pershing is an American hero, regardless of his actions in the philippines, however, his cunning strategy and respect for his enemy only enhances his legend.  It's a disgrace to have his name tarnished by reports of religious abuses.

there doing it on thier own accord (except for the few kids that are coaxed by thier parents or other grown ups)

thier islamic, thats not a cult, thats a major religion, and there doign this for allah, in accord to get back thier ideas and practices that the us has been sticking its nose in and trying to stop (same with the isrealites and palastine)

why do you think attacks on americans get worse as we treat islamics worse, because there trying to get us to leave them alone and do what theyve doen for so long
so once one person sees another was killed trying to recliam thier practices and freedoms (thier freedoms, assholes, not ours: two different definitons) then they'll join the fight to do the same thing

like i said, you wont beat terrorism with weapons or force, but only with politics, treaties, or just leaving them the fuck alone
