Question On Chernobyl
« on: April 20, 2004, 10:21:00 AM »

We are starting a research topic in English and at first I thought it would be about a historical event so I picked Chernobyl, unfortunately later I discovered that the topic had to be about a single person. I had already gathered some information about Chernobyl and was anxious to write about it so I’m hoping to still be able to work Chernobyl into this paper. The closest thing I can come up with is doing the paper on the operator at the time of the accident. It defiantly wasn’t his fault because he would lose his job if he didn’t keep the test going but he failed to keep stability and well… it blew up. So my question is, what is (was) his name? I’ve searched all over the Internet and never found his name, probably because Gorbachev kept secrecy so tight on it
