LOL.... maybe they should have put a portable latrine over the hole before officially taking him into custody (after disarming him, of course).

I imagine there wre severl hundred troops in the area who probably could have each taken a heaping MRE-fueled dump in the hole before they pulled him out.  ohmy.gif

that´s the problem of americans...you think somebody who doesn´t help you it´s against you...I´m spanish, my country has troops there, the goverment sent them there BUT aprox the 85% of spanish population is against this. You can´t even imagine the stupid you seem when changing name to food like french fries to liberty fries.....all world saw it and we all though it was sooooo stupid, or when we see you all runing to supermarkets buying gas masks, food, lanterns and so  biggrin.gif . You should understand europe doesn´t love war as much as you, military industry doesn´t rule our countries. If killing Sadam had been the propose of Gulf War 2, then you would have thrown a famous "Donald Rumsfeld´s MOAB" at his palace when he where there with his familiy and....game over. But hey, there´s a lot of missiles to spend and a lot of oil to take, some roads to build and money to earn....

Yes, this is very good news, world will be better without Sadam, and without Osama when somebody finds him......but it would also have been without so many dictators in south america in last quarter of 20th century with USA help...don´t forget this

I recommend you all Michael Moore´s Bowling For Columbine  beerchug.gif

From what the press has said so far, he was quite talkative after being captured, and said he was tired of running.  Don't pity him.  He's going to get whatever's coming to him eventually.

QUOTE (alikaz @ Dec 14 2003, 10:05 AM)
im not suporting saddam for wut hes done to his people, but i still wonder where these so called weapons of mass destruction are hidden, considering the country has been under control by us forces for about a year now, ok THESE ARE FUCKIN HUGE ASS WEAPONS, you cant jus move them in ur pocckets, i mean it will be ok if they had found SOME weapons but they havent found even ONE. next, any one here actually have ANY idea how mnay people (innocent ones) have diied in this war for NO reason?, if you are gonna turn to ur local meidia for the answer to my question then you are as blind. im sorry this war will end up startin more hate then the hate it was suposed to end

Maybe you should try READING the evidence...because while no weapons have actually been found, there is a TON of evidence that Saddam was actively developing and stockpiling WMDs.

Try actually READING the official David Kay report, that the media ignorantly claimed as proof that "no WMDS were found"

There most certainly WAS plenty going on. That the weapons are still well hidden and/or moved to other countries is still very likely (more so than not). What the report says is that nothing was found so far, and that plenty of evidence supports the conclusion that, given enough time and access, the weapons WILL BE FOUND.

QUOTE (Perkele @ Dec 14 2003, 09:28 AM)

He used gasbombs during the 8 year war against Iran, you know, the war where the US supported him.
.

Actually, the U.S. was WAY down on the list, behind the French, Germans, Russians... both in aid and weapons sales.

The U.S. moved quickly to distance themselves from Saddam and his regime after word got out about the tactics used int he Iran-Iraqi war.

But then again, you probably know that. If you did, you are a disengenuous prick.

If you didn't know that, then start educating yourself and stop listening to the disengenuous pricks who sow anarchy and disenfranchisement in the world.

If you think Bowling For Columbine is anything close to a factual, representative work about the U.S. then you might just be retarded.

It's entertainment, and very, very loose with the truth.

P.S.: I know Micheal Moore. I grew up about 5 miles from him, and hung with the same crowds. He plays up ignorance for laughs, and little more.

First off-the idiots in this country are always the one to get media coverage, and that's probably how it is in most countries.  I never saw any "liberty fries" anywhere.  It was just a few resaurants, and everyone I talked to about it thought it was insanely stupid.  Nobody that I know of also bought any supplies like that.  The media always just blows up a few small reports on things.

Military industry doesn't rule our economy either.  I only know 2 people that work for the military, and one is in the private sector, building missile parts.  In case you don't remember, we started the war by firing a missle at a palace we thought he was in.

My last point is I believe that France withheld from the war because of oil.  Did you know that their 2 largest oil companies are in Iraq?  That 10x more oil for France comes from Iraq than it does for us?

I've yet to hear ANYONE explain to me how a war could POSSIBLY give us oil.

I see your point and thank you for the support in the war.  You believe that Americans Love war and that is just no so.  If you look at the past, we did not want to get involved in WWII or WWI as they were both fought on your continent and in the Pacific.  If we have not had a treaty we would not have entered WWI and if we were not attacked by the Japanese and then had a declaration of war against us by the germans we would not have entered WWII.  See, what Europeans fail to realize and continue to do is allow these countries to build up arms in hopes that they will not use them.  You did it with Hitler following WWI.  He was limited to the size of certain weapons and military power when the Germans signed the end of war in WWI.  He started to build them regardless but Europe, who after WWI was petrified of war allowed him to do so.  He started taking over small countries (QUICKLY and POWERFULLY) and you still did nothing.  He spread with little resistence and the Major European Power just allowed it to happen.  It was not until the French were slaughtered, the bombardment of England, Russia, and everyone else is Europe and Africa was underway did you realize that there was a problem and that WAR was the only thing left and by then it was just too late.  Europeans are doing the same thing with Terrorism.  It has not directly affected your homeland so you do not precieve it do be a problem but trust me, whether you are peaceful or not, they will attack you given the chance.  It is not your military or peacefulness or economic power they do not like, it is YOU, your Idealogy, your way of life that they despise.  Look at the UN and the REDCROSS, they never use force and for the most part are peacfully yet both were attacked suffering catasrophic pain and loss.  It is hard to understand but you will see, I pray that rest of EUROPE does not suffer the act of terrorism seen here in the states and at our embassy's, on our troops, and elsewhere.

On a side note and this might be hard to understand.  Americans build their weapons and military might in hopes not to use them.  They are a deterence as is the Nuclear Bomb.  The only thing that held The Russians and the United States from a massive war was the BOMB (nuclear) because it would have led to Utter Destruction of all.  The military the US posses is a deterence, we do not want to use it but hope that the fear of "if we attack them, they will bomb the piss out of us and we will all die" would stop an attack.

Hope this clears a bit up.
