I always found that this forum was a quite respectable place, with very clever people. But when I read this kind of stupid comments, I just hope it won't evolve into crap due to totally immature people (like the guy who launched this idiotic poll).

Hey guys, just a reminder : we are not talking about the latest Shoot'em Up on Xbox, we are talking about REAL people life ! Are you totally insane, by bombing people just because they have a different point of view than yours ?

Of course, you must be American, totally brainwashed by the US Government propaganda. And you must be young too, because any sane adult would never consider bombing women and children as a poll subject.

BTW, it would be much more comfortable for France to agree with USA than trying to find a reasonable solution. For me, the cowards are all the countries that prefer to ally with the strongest country than trying to move their ass and find a better solution. At least, France and Germany had the courage to make an opposition to a totallly unjustified war, and they would have saved themselves a lot of troubles by simply licking the boots of Mr Bush.

Oh well, anyway I'm wondering why I'm wasting my time explaining this to people who have half a brain...
When I see that most of the people voted to bomb both countries, I just feel disgusted.

Certainly not France , they do this type of thing every time there is an international crisis . They just like to feel as if they have some sort of Power over the USA - since we all know they hate the USA and it's people [ if you are American and have been to France then you know what I am talking about ] .
Iraq should not be bombed either , we are not at war with Iraq just its leader . While I do agree that Iraq needs to be disarmed [ as should any country in possession of Weapons of Mass Destruction - especially those that are involved in Terrrorism ] I don't think we should risk the lives of innocent people [ especially children ] , if we do then we are no better than the terrorists that struck against the USA [ tactical strikes are all that should be used if there is any war in Iraq ] . Iraqs people should not be condemned just because they dislike the USA [ don't blame all muslims for the acts of a few - this only shows ignorance ] .
Those of you that have that 'kill em'all' attitude need to grow up , does that attittude make you any better than the terrorists ?
While I found BenJeremy's post to be funny it makes a very valid point in that there are too many people in the USA that take everyday things for granted and think that the rest of the world is wrong in any given situation just because we are Americans . We do live in the best country in the world because of all our freedoms however many countires do not share the same freedoms .
Many americans actually think that they are better than everyone else [ what makes us somehow better ? our $hit stinks just as bad as anybody elses ] .
Wake up to the world around you and don't be so blinded just because you are an American citizen [ we don't always do the RIGHT thing ... look back in history ] .
I am proud to be American but obviously not for the same reasons as many of you .
