I use iTunes, because i have an iPod. I tried to use the WinAmp plugin for iPods, but it really fucked up my ipod. I had to format it with some special program. Be warned,

Have you tried the newest release of Winamp? I've found that it works flawlessly, and it doesnt piss me off nearly as much as iTunes did  dry.gif

Both good programs though, I just prefer Winamp.

i like winamp, but somehow ended up using itunes and thought it had a pretty good library setup, i'm sure winamp probably has a similar setup implemented by now though.

i use winamp and it's the shit.  i don't even use the new modern skin, just the janky old winamp lite.  Winamp, as others say, pisses me off less than itunes, takes up way less memory and cpu power.  To me there both ok but just for 2 diffrent sets of people.  Winamp is for people who have there music organized (they may have "legally" downloded a lot of it) and know where everything is, and are fine with just making playlist or draging and droping, and like the fact that it is not stupid/anoying and not made by apple (itunes is not that much easier to use, if at all, and i find it harder to make it do what you want).  Itunes on the other hand is for people who have a lot of people use there computer and need to search it easily (for people other than the computers owner), and also people who buy music and rip through itunes.

iTunes. I have to admit that I am just lazy like that and iTunes works easiest and simplest with the iPod. Has anybody upgraded to iTunes 7 yet? Is it cool?
