I just want to go on record and say Drumming is not a sport. Neither is Orienteering or Chess. Or Soccer for that matter.

also id like to add randy castillo, tommy lee, and the guy from sum 41 (the non-tommy lee drummer) i saw them in concert a few years ago and they impressed me, especially for a pop-rock band, lol

i think a big reason people don't take it seriously is cause they think it's slow.  keep in mind next time you see a game on TV that the fiel they play on is as WIDE as a fottball field is LONG.  Then it puts some things in perspective

I played in highschool for a little bit, and then discovered I was much more adept at sports that required hand eye coordination rather than hand foot coordination. But I don't really put it on the same level as some other sports.
