well i have a 37" 1080p westy... from before they came with tuners. so i kind of need one.... i dont want to spend alot of money, so thats a factor. im gonna be at school so i dont have access to like a cable box or satellite receiver, which is what ive been using. is my only cheap option to use a vcr and output via rca, or could i use one of those digital/analog converter boxes that you can get the coupons for and use it as a tuner, would that work?
im open to suggestions, i just need something that will accept cable in and output anything other than coaxial.

well i got it figured out for now... until i get my coupons, im using a vcr as a tuner in my dorm. works good haha

well i got the apex 250... and im trying to set it up as a tuner... but it just says no signal.
i thought i was able to use this as a tuner for my tv....
