I don't understand why is that everybody thinks that my adapter is too expensive... The xecuter connectivity kit witch have been copied for seventhson schematic and witch is completely useless is sold for 29.99$...
Your adapter and the Xecuter Connectivity Kit cannot be compared.
In my opinion, the Xecuter Kit (and the 'clones') are all crap until homebrew content can be run on the Xbox 360. If 29.99$ can guarantee the running of homebrew code, it's a good price. Now, it's nothing more than a luxury for pirates.
Your product is only an adapter and a firmware image/flasher to make one (!) type of DVD-ROM drive compatible with the Xbox. One still needs to buy a DVD-ROM drive. Combine the price of your adapter and the DVD-ROM drive and one will conclude that it's expensive. Cheap alternatives exist and most people will try to use them (search for 8163B's or 616F/T's or settling in with a good Xbox-native drive which can read any media, like the Philips)). I'm not saying that your adapter is bad. It allows a common drive on the market to be used as an all-around Xbox-drive, which is excellent. All I'm saying is that the total price (drive and adapter) will not attract a lot of people buying one..

Its has been produced by a team with big $$$, they have their products made in china in large quantity so they pay very little costs. But they still sell teir adapters for 30$ and you are all happy with it...
I'm not happy with it and have never bought anything from Xecuter. Yes, I will be happy when homebrew will run on the Xbox and even if Xecuter makes that a reality, I will buy the 'solution' from them.

Now a poor guy from Canada make an adapter, code you a firmware... try to sell his adapter for 22$ and get flamed all around !!! 22$ is not expensive for the work that have been done and the product delivered.I will do my best to reduce prices...
I don't know why you say you are from Canada (I do not dare to ask if that makes you more poor). However, 22 bucks is not the work that 'has been done' since people still need a DVD-ROM drive, it isn't installed yet and it also isn't delivered to my doorstep for that money.

If you buy clones an uses my firmware with it, you don't contribute... 22$ to support a team that will release new stuff is not expensive an wise !!!
Nobody will probably make clones to sell. However, I can imagine that many hobbyists would like to create their own adapter, which costs less. In time, they can do that. These are the same hobbyists who mod their own drive with a soldering iron and who rather want to make something themselves instead of buying something premade.
