Is there any way to break into a Panasonic 42in TX-PH9UK and update its look with better interactive menu displays?  They're real clunky.

Or is there anything worth while doing breaking into these service menus?  Like better picture adjustment possibly?

Which leads me to...I know the factory picture settings are way out there, so are there any published guidelines for this particular set giving optimum picture settings?  Preferably from a professional

Just fired mine up and was a little pized.  3 pixels out close together.  123buydirect.com was where she came from.

That reminds me, it came with a free 5 year extended warranty.  Anything I can do to this thing that'd cause the need for a replacement, say about year 4?
