I don't think it's a bad deal for the price. Contrast ratio is a way too low IMO though.

Also doesn't do 1080p, but believe me I wouldn't worry about it for the price. I recently got a new projector myself and didn't go with a 1080p capable one. The way I feel about 1080p and the ICT is that by the time it's put into effect I will have already upgraded again. And not like there is a whole lot of difference between 1080i and 1080p.

EDIT: My contrast ratio is 2100:1 and I still don't think my blacks look perfect. To me that's the only really big drawback on it. Everything else looks great.
