scroll down to "video cables" It's a great tutorial.

You should also know that your only as strong as your weakest link.
So if you use VGA IPB Image instead of componentIPB Image it would be better, but you won't get the quality that comes with DVI.IPB Image because both component and VGA are analog. Not digital.
